Provisional Members
Everyone who joins the Carpet Cleaning Association of WA (Inc) begins as a Provisional Member. This is the first stage of membership and provides guidance, training, and mentoring to help new members meet our professional standards.
What “Provisional Member” Means
- Mentoring & Training: Provisional Members take part in our mentoring program while working toward recognised training in areas such as workplace safety, carpet and upholstery cleaning, stain removal, and environmental practices. In some cases, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may apply, but all members follow the Association’s process for verification and support.
- Pathway to Full Membership: Once the required training and compliance steps are completed, Provisional Members may become eligible for full membership, gaining full rights and recognition.
- Community & Standards: Provisional Members already commit to our Code of Ethics, attend workshops, and follow our rules. The only difference is they do not yet have voting rights or the ability to use the Association’s logo until they achieve full membership.
